consolidating my life

i have decided to reduce and simplify my life, and one way is to have only ONE blog. yup, i could barely keep up with one, so how in the world did i think i could handle TWO? no idea. so i've transfered my two favorite posts from askguntherlife.blogspot.com to here, and the rest is history. it wasn't that great or important, so i deleted it :) so from now on, it's just this one. enjoy! i'll be keeping up on this one, with lots of cute pics of konrad, so check back every now and then to ooh and ahhh over my precious boy.

St. George - April 2009

We went to St. George this past weekend and it was awesome! We went down Saturday morning and here's how our trip went:

Here's on the way down... Konrad's trying to eat Bailey's orange juice.
No luck yet... can't get through the stinking top!
We met a bunch of the family at Sand Hollow resort and spent some time by the water. Gorgeous day!
Bailey's adorable feet.
The water was cold Saturday, but it gets very warm in the summer. We are definitely going back to swim!

I got kisses!
Konrad got kisses too :)
All together now... ahhhhhh

Bailey is walking on water!

Konrad started crawling around on the rock...
...he was having so much fun!
Not sure what this pose means...
...but I know what this one means: walking into the water!
I kept a hold on him... he was backing himself into the water on purpose. This kid would live in water if we let him.
He wanted to play with it, even though it was cold.

So excited... walking into the water again!

Leaping across the rocks to find more water.
Found it!
OOOO... that's cold! Let's walk out of the water now.
Sunday afternoon we met at the park with all the family again. It was so sunny and warm, we had to be outside enjoying it!

Konrad stayed on the blanket... he doesn't like the grassy feeling on his legs. It's pretty funny watching him try to get his legs off the grass while also trying to crawl away from the grass.

Becky and Ayla!
So cute!
The brothers... Jordan and Austin were playing lacrosse-catch, but the Austin saw a Red-Tailed Hawk and had to get his binoculars out and ready.
Still waiting...
Jordan always has his lacrosse stick in hand.
This was perfect timing... I now have proof that Bailey "abuses" Konrad by throwing the Elmo ball at his head ;)
Gotcha!
There were more fun time, but these are the ones we caught on camera. I foresee us visitng St. George sometime soon in the future!

lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

no worries, we didn't see any lions, tigers, or bears at duck creek. just some crazy campers. you may know some of them . . .
